FutureSafe was founded by Trisha-May and Will Andrews, a team that brings together certified safety expertise and real trades experience in a way you won't find at a large consulting firm.
We started FutureSafe because we saw a gap: small and midsize Alberta employers who needed genuine expertise, not templated solutions or consultants learning on the job. Every client we work with gets our direct involvement, from initial assessment through to implementation.
Together we bring 25 years of combined oil and gas experience, from certified safety management to hands on field operations. That combination gives FutureSafe a perspective that very few consulting firms can match.
Trisha-May Andrews
Cofounder | Certified Safety Professional
Trisha-May is an ACSA Approved COR Auditor and certified safety professional with 12 years of experience in Alberta's oil and gas sector. She has conducted COR audits, built health and safety management systems from the ground up, managed WCB claims, and worked alongside field crews, HR teams, supervisors, and executive leadership.
Her lost time incident rate of zero to date reflects a proactive, hands on approach to claim management and incident prevention that goes well beyond paperwork. Every safety document produced under her oversight is tailored specifically to the client's business and industry code, never a generic template.

Will Andrews
Cofounder | Dual Ticketed Journeyman
Will brings 12 years of hands-on industrial experience as a Dual Ticketed Journeyman in both Welding and Pipefitting and is a proud NAIT Alumni. His supervisory experience coordinating piping operations in industrial environments gives FutureSafe a field-level perspective that most safety consulting firms simply don't have.
That trades background means FutureSafe understands the work being done at a ground level, not just from a regulatory or administrative perspective, but from the perspective of the people actually doing the job. It makes our JHAs more accurate, our safety programs more practical, and our audit preparation more credible.
